| I doubt , if we start MCA it will be sabotaged by some import lobby. Most of the indigenous projects faced many problems internally. I hope they won't hit FGFA | |

| guys mca and fgfa are totally different venture in their class of fighter jet. fgfa: it will be a heavy class fifth generation fighter aircraft co-developed by india and russia with25%-75% work share. mca: mca will be that fifth generation aircraft which will fill the gap between mmrca ,lca and fgfa combat aircraft with possible thrust vectroing too,as russians help will be taken although many things are a bit hazy at this moment of time. justification:: in my view india should go for mca as it will not only make our aerospace industry capable of producing fifth generation aircraft but also will but india in the elight club of nation who can do this and we should not forget that the due to this the price will be reduced significantly i am sure india will go with this program as india has put a team with much difficulty that can make world class fighter planes. hope we can see mca in indian skies till 2017.... | |

| i think that MCA or AMCA should be able to replace MMRCA in the long run or supplement its function, doing sead or dead sorties before the non stealthy air trucks go in. Just like FGFA might end up doing it for Su30 in the Air-dominance sphere. | |

| mca is being developed to replace mirage 2000 and mig-29 in the due course and guys fgfa will not replace su-30mki it will our frontline combat aircraft along with sukhoi-30mki we even have not yet received half the su-30mki which we have ordered it will atleast take 13yrs more to get all the mki and 20 yrs to get all the fgfa i.e. 250 of them and taking atleat 30 yrs of life service atleat they will be our frontline aircraft for 2040-50 in the future .. so plz friends dnt put mca in a category which it do not belong to it is a medium weight stealth plane like f-35 which will be produced indigeneously. | |

| it will be very interesting to see WHAT AFTER AMCA! AMCA will surely fly, anyhow we will see AMCA flying by 2025 surely in good nos. But then what?? we will be observing super make over in USAF, RAF,Luftwaffe and subsequently others, with induction of UCAVs. as per my guess by 2030 USAF will be operating at least 30% UCAVs of the total airforce strength. | |

| may be usa will be operating a lot of uav and ucav's but usa is no longer our adversary and started having a slow but good friendship so its fine ,till our neighbours dnt but that seem preety bleak at the moment... | |

| China can do anything at this point of time. and if China is doing then ofc Pakistan comes der by default! so it will be very interesting to see coming j-14 first and then if any UCAV rolls out then that too! both of them will be potential threats... | |
